GOLO donates to three community-based organizations

As part of our commitment to support community-based initiatives, GOLO recently donated $60,000 across three national organizations: One Warm Coat, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, and Wounded Warriors Family Support. The funding will focus on various initiatives, including coat drives for children and families, support programs for children with cancer, and veterans' services.

One Warm Coat 

One Warm Coat's mission is to provide free coats to children and adults in need while promoting volunteerism and environmental sustainability. Over the past 30 years, One Warm Coat has facilitated more than 43,000 coat drives, collecting 7.3 million coats that have been distributed through 1,400 nonprofit partners across all 50 states.

"One Warm Coat is grateful for this generous contribution from GOLO, which will help provide warmth to thousands of children and adults this year while promoting volunteerism and environmental sustainability," says Beth W. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation 

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) shares the vision of their founder and creator, Alexandra "Alex" Scott — a cure for all children with cancer. Their mission is to change the lives of children with cancer through funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.

"We are grateful to GOLO for joining us in the fight against childhood cancer," says Liz Scott, Alex's mom and Co-Executive Director at Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. "Their support allows us to continue our mission to fund critical research as well as provide support to families looking for a cure."  

Wounded Warriors Family Support

Wounded Warriors Family Support is an independent nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support to the families of those who have been wounded, injured, or killed during combat operations.

"Through our partnership, GOLO has made significant contributions towards improving the quality of life for veterans and their families," says Kate McCauley, CEO and President of Wounded Warriors Family Support.
