As detailed in its complaint, GOLO alleges that hundreds of fake “Golo Diet” books and fake “Golo Cookbooks” are and have been sold on Amazon using GOLO’s trademarks, which has resulted in consumer confusion. None of these books are genuine or authorized GOLO products. All of GOLO’s products, including its recipe books, are only available for purchase directly from GOLO.
GOLO also alleges that many of the books are comprised of AI-generated content written by non-existent authors with fake credentials (claiming, for example, to be written by physicians, nurses, or nutritionists when they are not). Much of the content in many of these books is inaccurate, and the information could even be potentially harmful to certain people.
Amazon continues to print, distribute, and make money from the sale of these books despite knowing they are unauthorized.

GOLO is also aware that counterfeit GOLO Release supplements have been sold online, including ones that have been sold through Amazon, Alibaba, eBay, and Walmart (again, GOLO does not sell any products on Amazon or through any other retailer).

Some of these counterfeits are imported from China or elsewhere, and testing confirms the counterfeits do not contain the ingredients that are included in GOLO’s patented Release supplement. The ingredients in these counterfeits are otherwise unknown, and GOLO strongly urges consumers not to ingest them.

GOLO also does not sell any products on eBay or through any other retailer. Purchasing any GOLO products on eBay or elsewhere puts you at risk of buying counterfeits or unauthorized products from unauthorized resellers and exposing you to the potential for product tampering.
