Roasted Asian Chickpeas

Ingredients:
- 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas
- 1/2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 tsp tamari (or coconut aminos) sauce
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, will add heat)
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Rinse chickpeas and pat dry. *This step is very important.* You want to make sure all the moisture is off the chickpeas so they can get crispy when cooking.
- Once chickpeas are dry, add them to a medium bowl. Add oil and seasonings. Mix well.
- Spread across a baking sheet. Cook in oven for about 10-15 minutes, then stir chickpeas around on baking sheet.
- Cook for another 10-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy to your liking.
- Remove pan from oven and remove chickpeas from baking sheet (they will continue to cook on the sheet). Enjoy!
