Ingredients
- 1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp All Spice
- 1/2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Butter, for cooking
- 1 Cup Whole Milk
- In a large bowl combine the Whole Wheat Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Salt, Ginger, Cinnamon, Nutmeg and All Spice. Mix to combine
- Next add the Milk, Egg, Vanilla and Maple Syrup. Mix until smooth.
- Melt 1 tsp of Butter (per serving) on the frying pan over medium heat. Using a 1/2 Cup measuring cup, scoop the batter and place onto the pan. Cook until there are bubbles all over the pancake, about 2 minutes.
- Flip and cook on the other side until golden brown.
