Install the GOLO Wellness Scale App on your smartphone
1. Set up myGOLO
If you’ve already set up a myGOLO account, skip this step. If you have not set up your myGOLO account yet, please go to www.golo.com and click on the myGOLO tab to follow the prompts and join.
2. Scan the QR code
Scan the QR code below or go to the Apple or Google Play Store on your mobile device to download the GOLO Wellness Scale App.

3. Open the App on your mobile device
Log in using your myGOLO® account email address and password. If you haven’t activated your myGOLO account, follow the prompts in the App to do so.
4. Follow the prompts
Once you’ve logged in, follow the prompts to set up your account and pair the scale to your App.
Pair App to your scale after initial installation
1. Ensure Bluetooth connection is enabled on your mobile device. Open the GOLO Wellness Scale App.
2. Tap the ‘Profile’ button located at the bottom right side of the App’s home screen.
3. Tap ‘Device Management,’ then ‘Add Device.’ The App prompts you to complete these steps upon first login.
4. Stand on the scale with your feet covering the sensors. The scale should appear in the App’s device scan. Tap it to add it to your devices.
5. Measurements are complete when the weight value appears on the display.
6. Results will be saved in your GOLO Wellness Scale App.
Troubleshooting
App display is set to kg/cm instead of lb/in
Edit App measurement settings: tap the ‘Profile’ button (bottom right of the App’s home screen), then ‘General Settings.’

Scale isn’t working or data isn’t displaying
Check that batteries are installed properly and charged. Replace batteries, if necessary.

Scale cannot connect to the App
Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device. Pair through the App, not your Bluetooth settings. Still not working? Try closing and restarting Bluetooth or exit and restart the App.
Ensure other devices are not also trying to connect, which may interfere with pairing.

Remove socks/shoes and try again.
Do not exceed maximum capacity.

I am getting odd results when I step on the scale
The surface where the scale is placed can cause inaccurate and inconsistent results, when placed on a carpet or uneven surface. It is recommended that you place the scale on an even hard surface.If the scale is displaying a number other than zero (0.0), push on the top of the scale. The scale should recalibrate.

What does the scale measure?
The scale measures 12 crucial metrics:
- Weight: The weight of your body, usually measured in kilograms or pounds.
- BMI: Body Mass Index, an estimation of body fat based on a person’s weight and height.
- BMR: Basal Metabolic Rate, the minimum rate of energy required by your body to sustain basic life activities in a quiet state.
- Muscle Rate: The percentage of your body weight that is made up of muscle.
- Muscle Mass: The total weight of all the muscle tissue in your body, including skeletal, myocardial, and smooth muscle.
- Bone Mass: Total amount of bone tissue in your skeleton, including minerals and bone cells.
- Fat Percentage: The percentage of body fat in your body.
- Subcutaneous Fat Percentage: The percentage of body fat beneath the cells lining your blood vessels in total body weight.
- Visceral Fat: The body fat surrounding your organs, mainly distributed in the abdominal cavity, including fat around the liver, heart, kidneys, and pancreas.
- Body Water: The percentage of water in your tissues compared to total body weight, also known as body moisture content.
- Protein Ratio: The percentage of protein in your tissues compared to total body weight.
- Metabolic Age: An indicator that measures your physical health “status” relative to your actual age by comparing your BMR to the average BMR of people your age.

Can I delete measurements?
Yes, tap on any measurement on your dashboard, which will take you to the ‘Data Trends’ page. Then from there, go to ‘All Records’ (top right corner). When in the ‘All Records’ page you can swipe left on any measurement you want to delete. Press the red delete button to delete that measurement.

How do I update the App?
Go to the App Store on your phone, either Android or IOS. Go to your account in the App Store and you’ll see a section for ‘Upcoming Automatic Updates’, see if the GOLO Wellness Scale is requiring an update and tap ‘Update’ if available.
- If no update is available, your app is completely updated.

How do I log in and log out of the App?
You can sign into the app using your GOLO login credentials. If you have not activated your MyGOLO account, you can activate it by visiting golo.com.
To log out:
- Select the Profile icon at the bottom right
- Select Account Information
- Select Log Out
- Once you’ve logged out, you can log back in by using your credentials

How do I download the app?
Scan the QR code in front of the manual included with the scale. To scan the QR code, you can use the camera on your phone to hover over the QR code.
Or you can go to either the Apple or Google play store on your mobile device to download the GOLO wellness scale app.

How do I sync my GOLO scale app measurements to myGOLO account?
Measurements will automatically sync.

How do I add additional users to the app?
- Open the app
- Ensure Bluetooth is turned on
- Click on profile icon
- Select the scale icon (if you have more than one device select correct device)
- Select Member management
- Select add member
- Fill in data for additional member and select save

How do I switch between users?
Select the drop arrow by the Username and select another available user on the list.

If I use the scale without the app will the data be lost?
No, the scale will retain measurements for a short period of time.
- Open the app
- Ensure Bluetooth is turned on
- Click on profile icon
- Select the scale icon (if you have more than one device select correct device)
- Select device management
- Select Sync scale data
- “unknown” measurements will appear as a ribbon at the top of the user page
- Click the ribbon to open
- Measurements and dates will appear
Measurements can be “claimed” or “deleted”
- To claim: Select the desired measurements. Click claim.
- Measurements that are left may be claimed by other users in the app
- To delete: Select the desired measurements. Click delete.

Where can I find my results once I am on myGOLO?
- While logged in to myGOLO, click on "My Account" in the light blue bar
- Under your profile name, choose "My Wellness Scale Results" from the menu

How do I clear app data?
- Open Settings: Open the Settings app on your Android device.
- Go to Apps or Applications: Depending on your Android version, you'll find "Apps" or "Applications" (or a similar option) in the Settings menu.
- Select the App: Scroll through the list of apps and select the one you want to clear data for.
- Tap Storage: Choose "Storage" or "Storage & Cache" (or a similar option).
Clear Data or Clear Cache:
- Clear Data: This will remove all app data, including saved settings, login information, and other data. You'll need to log back into the app and re-set everything up.
- Clear Cache: This removes temporary files that the app uses to speed up loading and display. Clearing the cache won't delete your data or settings.
