Ingredients:
- 6 oz salmon fillets
- 1 oz almonds, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp olive oil, divided
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 Tbsp tamari or soy sauce (if not Gluten-free)
- ½ tsp garlic, minced
- Mix together honey, 1/2 Tbsp olive oil, tamari sauce and garlic in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat the remaining 1/2 Tbsp of olive oil over medium heat in a large pan. While pan is heating, mix together sesame seeds and almonds.
- Brush each fillet with the honey-tamari mixture and then press the top in the almond and sesame seed mixture.
- Place each fillet, crust down, in the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
- When the salmon is cooked transfer to a serving plate and top with the remaining honey-tamari/soy sauce.
