*This is a treat. You should not eliminate any serving from your regular meals in order to have this. But should rather be enjoyed in moderation.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup almond butter
- ¼ cup + 2 Tbsp coconut flour
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
- Sea salt, for topping
- In a medium bowl, mix almond butter and coconut flour. It will create a thick paste.
- Scoop a heaping teaspoon onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and form it into a ball. Continue until all mixture is used.
- Place baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30 second increments until the chocolate is completely melted.
- Using a toothpick or spoon, dunk the frozen almond butter bites into the melted chocolate making sure to fully cover every side.
- Place each bite back onto the parchment paper and sprinkle the top with sea salt.
- Repeat steps 5 & 6 until all are coated in chocolate.
- Place the baking sheet back in the freezer for another 10 minutes.
