Exercise is a great health tool. But sometimes it’s hard to find an exercise that is fun and that you enjoy doing. Are you looking for something different? Have you ever tried Zumba?

Zumba is a dance exercise that incorporates salsa, flamenco and merengue dances (don’t let that scare you though, you don’t have to know this to try a class). The classes are very high energy, set to upbeat music and feature choreographed dance. Zumba really is for everyone- whether you’ve got moves like Jagger or even if you think you can’t dance. All you really have to do is move to the music and have fun! Zumba is an interval workout, designed to get your heart rate up. It targets your core, legs, and glutes. It can also enhance flexibility and build strength.

There are all different kinds of Zumba classes, from Aqua Zumba to Zumba toning. You can even get a DVD and do it in the privacy of your own home. And they even have special Zumba classes for kids!

Have you ever tried Zumba before? Let us know in the comments below!
